All our animals thrive under the loving gaze of our peasant: the hens lay more eggs, the cows give more milk, even the donkey is down right docile. But have no fear the cat and the dog keep things interesting.
 
The bread might be ready for the oven, but while fixing her kerchief our peasant woman heard something in the attic. A family of mice most likely has taken residence up there and with the cat away the nights are bound to have a new sound track.
 
These figurines are made of Romanian Maple wood, pure handicrafts, here in Romania. Each figurine is a unique piece, designed with love and care. It is polished, painted and oiled with water-based paints and organic oils (EN 71 standards).
